War is horrible and it is especially a shame when innocents have to suffer. But Israel has a right to live in peace. Understand Hezbollah wants Israel destroyed. Hezbollah is also backed by Iran which openly states Israel should be destroyed.

As pundits and policymakers scramble to explain events in Lebanon, their conclusions are virtually unanimous: Hizbullah created this crisis. Israel is defending itself. The underlying problem is Arab extremism.
Sadly, this is pure analytical nonsense. Hizbullah's capture of two Israeli soldiers on July 12 was a direct result of Israel's unrelenting aggression against Lebanon, which in turn is part of a six-decades long Muslim-Israeli conflict.
Since its withdrawal of occupation forces from southern Lebanon in May 2000, Israel has violated the United Nations-monitored "blue line" on an almost daily basis, according to UN reports. Hizbullah's military doctrine, articulated in the early 1990s, states that it will fire Katyusha rockets into Israel only in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanese civilians or Hizbullah's leadership; this indeed has been the pattern.

If you watch and see, all that is happening over there in lebanon will end up turning into armageddon someday. You have to wait and watch. It is biblical prophecy. It relates to the war that is described in ezekiel ch 38-39. Grant Jeffery has a book coming out in bookstores in oct 2006 called the next world war. I am interested in reading it. It talks about what is going on now and what is going to happen. So does John Hagee's book Jerusalem: Countdown to Crisis. Watch for the return of the savior soon !!

Just a pre-planned war encouraged by the American government and just in time for the mid-term elections. Of course we support Israel's right to exist, but that doesn't mean they have the right to bomb indiscriminately helpless civilians. This war will only encourage Muslims in the entire region to fight even more. Palestine and the other Arab nations have a right to exist too.

war is bad, how many Israeli's have died in the last twenty years how long can you live with your self knowing that murder is happening all over your country by foreigners buss bombs rockets gun fire to name a few
