sounds like this chic wants to be chased. Some girls do it because it's a thrill and it flatters them. If you are tired of the games, then quit and move on. Oh, and because of the age...it is a concern..you are a minor and she is an adult..AND THAT spells TROUBLE. better stay out of it :)

Well, you can't really generalize ALL girls and say that they are never frank/up front.
But stereotypes do come from some seeds of truth as is evident by many girls who play games with men (or women if the case may be).
In any case, this girl isn't making her feelings or intentions clear. This is potentially 'dangerous' to get involved in because she could play games for the entirety of the relationship. From experience, i find that proper and honest communication is the KEY. and i mean the KEY to a loving, successful, and happy relationship. So if you want these lines of communication to be open. Why dont you take the first step and ask her what's up next time she mentions age and how she calls you etc etc.
See where she stands for real and take it from there. If she's still messing around, save your heart and get out.
Just an additional note... 21 and 16 is a big gap. I know there are people who will say otherwise, but at 21, (i'm 20) the person is in university/college or working. and at 16, you are most likely still in highschool. Being in such DRASTICALLY differing places in life can be challenging.
But again, if it's working (communication is key!) then by all means... go for it!! who am i to say otherwise.
Good luck with her and remember to communicate and be honest and frank yourself.
peace.

With all due respect...if you are 16 and she is 21...then stay away!!!
As much of a fantasy as it can be for a teenager, it is highly inappropriate to break the legal age barrier. If nothing else, if you do truly care for this lady, then help her stay out of legal trouble.
The Law frowns on Adults having relationships with minors...especially if it crosses into an intimate setting.
The risk to her is far greater than to you.
Be respectful and back off until you are BOTH of legal age.
The time will go by much quicker than you think.

Because they are not women yet and have not come to terms with their female power. Age doesn't make the woman or the man. Maturity does. Keep living. One day you'll meet a woman is so direct that it will give you chills. Just hope you can handle it. When you grow older and wiser what you want in a woman will change and so with the genuineness of the women you encounter.

What is a 21 year old women doing with a 16 year old child is the question...she must be straight up wack...at 21 I could never imagine myself with a teenager...I'm 26 now and all the stories I hear about these older women messing with these young boys discuss me...she must be very immature and twisted...

Ah, well, first off LEGALLY there's an issue. So that should be enough for either of you. In my opinion, if at 21 you're dealing with a 16 y/o, there's a problem. Just my humble opinion though.

I would be cncerned about the age if I was her. There are numerous girls out there who are frank. Maybe she is afraid of how you will take it. Maybe she does not want to lose you as a friend. Since she is not being frank with you ,take the initiative and ask her what is it that she wants. Tell her to be honest with you.

She may have an interest, but not interested in going to jail. If you like her so much, back off unless you want to see her from a prison visitors lounge. She probably is being more frank than you care to recognize.
