I am glad you ask this question. I have 2 sons, and they are 10 years apart. When my oldest son was born he was premature and weak and quiet. My youngest son when he was born he was 8lbs. and was strong and was just screaming. That is still their personality. My oldest son is quiet and at times insecure and my youngest son is out going and a strong willed person. I love them both. My oldest is having some problems right now that i hope he can get through.

My children are so different from each other. My first is very outgoing and headstrong. She will go up to anyone and loves meeting new people and making friends. She has to be the center of attention and in charge. She also has different looks, she looks more like me and my side of the family and she has dark reddish blonde hair. My second daughter is very shy around new people and very clingy. She hates large groups of people. But she really knows how to have a good time when she's comfortable, she loves dancing. She follows her sister around anywhere and is happy to do whatever she is told. She has light blonde hair and has my husband's and his side of the family's looks.

My first son, Jason, is 23 years old and sharing an apartment with a friend. He is working and going out all the time. He is smart and good-looking and has a genuinely beautiful heart. My second son, Daniel, is 10 months old. Yes he was a big surprise. He looks just like Jason did as a baby and I can already see that he is going to be a wonderful human being.

They are like snowflakes - unique - impossible to list all their differences - keep in mind that one of the biggest influences on children are their siblings - often, one will decide to like something or get interested in something solely because the other one has no interest at all in that area. My son loves all foods, even vegetables - my daughter is a picky eater. My daughter is a reader, my son isn't, loves video games, which my daughter can take or leave. They both love to write and love to listen to stories. My son is competitive, my daughter is a leader. The list is endless.

They are polar opposites. Very strange. My oldest is outgoing, loud, and very hyper. My younger is shy, quiet, and extremely laid back. My son is just plain mean most of the time but in the sweetest way I have ever seen anyone be mean (then again maybe its just me that thinks that because...well..I'm his mom) and my baby is just starting to develop her personality (only 18 months) From the time each of them were born they have all been completely different. I can't really think of anything, other than their looks, that is similar between them. Isn't that weird?

My children are both wonderful little people however my son, who is three, is mischief incarnate. The worst punishment in the world is to make the poor boy sit still. He cannot stay out of things that dont belong to him, tools are his favorite. He is also a sweetheart, he co-slept as an infant and breastfed for 9mos.He likes to act tough but he is way more attatched than my daughter, He will yell and scream and fight but if he thinks I am really upset by something he will be really quiet and try to comfort me. My daughter ,who is two, is little miss independent. Even at birth she wanted to sleep in her own bed. She likes nothing better than to sit in her bed and look through her books. She is affectionate as well, she loves to be hugged and held and kissed, but she likes to play people. She will be all sweetness and innocence if she wants something, but if she doesnt get it she can throw a tantrum you wouldnt believe. Babies, gotta love em. HeHe

I don't have children of my own but I am very close to my 2 nieces. The 15 yr old is a girlie girl who is VERY much into shopping and doing lunch. She cares way too much about what others think. She is dramatic and can be very mean to others, but also is very nurturing and caring at other times.
The 12 year old is her own person who could care less what other people think. She is a tomboy who is into dirt biking and skateboarding. She is sneaky and lies alot. She does not really care enough about others to be mean to them, she does her own thing and goes her own way.

My son has the most amazing sense of humor that brings everyone to tears (he's 11) and my daughter (5) is so incredibly sweet and affectionate.
Each of them has the other's qualities as well, but those are just the traits that stand out above anything else.

my daughter is a great mother, who loves her children, and would have lots of them, as if 4 isnt enough lol...my son has 1 son, he duz love him but doesnt live with him .. so not with the same intensity as my daughter,....my son has confidence oozing out of every orafice lol, my daughter not nearly as much,my son is very sport orientated, my daughter not at all, my son has my nature easy going , my daughter holds grudges for a very long time,.... although both my children have great sense of humour, .....i have a great relationship with both my children ...and they too have a great relationship with each other, we talk about everything and im the one who they come to for advice, about absolutly anything...but the most important thing about my children is that they are two seperate people with their own personality and i treat them the same but different, but no favourites i love them both the same, just love them for who they are and would try to change that or the differences between them ,because that makes them who they are ...

I have 4 of 19/17/10/10 years.
The oldest one (boy) is like me a scientist ..... the second one (girl) is like my wife´s sister a nursing typus .... and the double pack (boy + girl): he is the handycraftsman and she is the artist and musician.
My experience about twins compared to the older ones: twins cause less than double the trouble and they give more than double the joy.
