Well, with God everything is possible-
Look what Chuck Smith did with the drug head hippies. He reached out to them and the results is over 2500 Calvary Chapels across the USA.

No such thing as one. There is hip hop music, and then there is church. It doesnt need to be combined. If a church is doing that then they take away from whats needed. For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul. So if a church gains the crowds with such music, that means the gospel is not being preached. Come out from among them and be ye sperate, saith the Lord. Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in His. Our churches do not need todays music. It needs more preaching in them.

I see that you are only looking for one type of answer, but i decided to answer anyway. Hip Hop church...Hmmmmm. It seems like the "world " has completely infiltrated the church. Why does the church have to copy the "world"? Hip hop is of the world. Why should we water down the Church to make the "world" happy. The church is the church and the the club is the club, never the twain should mix!
That's one church goers opinion.

They probably think they're doing something positive. I love hip-hop, so I'd probably have enjoyed those services back in the day, when I was Christian. Seems like a way to get more "meat in the seats", as the pastor's wife on the Simpsons put it.

Hey if they are teaching the Truth then by all means I am for them. As long as they are sending the right message and it is Biblicaly sound then I support them. They are trying to reach a group of people that wouldn't necessarily go to a tradition Church. If what they are doing is bringing the lost to Christ then I say go for it and may God Bless them.

Praising God in any form that is joyful, spiritual and fulfilling is in my opinion, acceptable.

It won't be everyone's choice or view of praise and following, but for some it will be exactly what their lives need in order for them to follow God their way.

I doubt that God is choosey, bothered or against methods of praising Him that don't conform to the normal methods in existance. The main thing would be that people are reading, believing and following His teachings.
