You want examples, here you go. You asked for them. I hope you have the COURAGE to see the TRUTH about the Koran.
It's no longer a question about whether or NOT there are contradictions in the Koran. The question NOW is...why are there SO MANY???

I love it.
"but but but...what about the Bible?"
"there are no contradiction"
"those sites are all made by people who hate Islam!"
LoL!
Biomimetik is the perfect example of a braindead Muslim sheep who obviously has a reading comprehension problem. I'll let you stubborn Muslim fools fill up this post with more "IS NOT, IS NOT" kind of reposonses, and then give someone who isn't afraid to admit the truth a well earned 10 points.

The reason why there are so many contridications is because the koran takes it's text from the first scriptures of scrolls. remember the koran was writing some 500 years after the scrolls or the fist bible. You also have to remember that most writings of any religion was writing my man thus, may not be accurate depicition of God more or less there thoughts. As time progressed translation of text also changed as parts was omitted by various regligions to suite there own agenda...thus you have the catholic and jews delimena....

All the holy books are written by people.
Look at the laws of your own country - they are challenged, in some cases proved to be at fault and rewritten. Imagine if that were not possible because they were said to be holy. Then you are in a situation similar to that in totalitarian countries where the doctrines CANNOT be seen to be wrong so they are 'interpreted' to suit the present view.
The holy books were written a long time ago with contemporary views on life. You try explaining to someone how thay should live their life without ever contradicting yourself.

Same reason there are so many contradictions in the Bible and the Torah...human fallibility. These books were not written by any kind of creator. People the whole world over need to chill out about religion and stop expecting someone or something else to fix all of our man made problems. We are the only ones available to fix anything. The universe doesn't care one way or the other, but we do care, so its up to us to help and not hinder one another.

The answer is as follows:
Many men with differing opinions and ideas all wrote many things under Mohammed's name. These were always written on something OTHER than paper as Paper As We Know It was not widely available...and many of the sources were scattered bits and pieces that could be read in any one of a hundred differing ways by any of a thousand differing schools of thought, each with many people with many different desires and thoughts.
Want a Book that has a central theme that AGREES over a time period of 1000 years with more than 25 writers in three different languages? Read a Bible.

perhaps if you look into any religion which isn't yours, you will see contradictions, christianity to muslims is very hard to understand and accept because many things seem so un-logical and too spiritual in reality to believe..for christians islam may be contradicting and harsh and rather bloody! The problem is, if you think many things in the quran are contradicting, don't try to ask why, everyone will try to convince you otherwise, i think you should follow your heart, if you feel like you're convinced by it, then do tht..maybe for u it's contradicting and that's why you're not a believer of the quran.

There are many contradicitons in the Bible as well, but of course YOU already know that. Before you start slinging stones and calling names, check your faith at the door and see what you come up with. I bet you've done your share of dirt as well. Why don't YOU quit being a crybaby and a coward and realize that the world's gonna keep on turning no matter what your faith is. There I said it! Now go on and live!

OK ,I think I can answer all those that were written in the first address you have given above but it will take too long but for some examples:
http://answering-islam.org/Quran/Contra/#internal part 60
the thing translated to wine is sharab ,the word sharab doesn't refer to wine only,it means what you drink ,if I want to be more close to the exact meaning it is what is drinkable,so when in Koran talks about not drinking wine it is talking about some sort of sharab which gives it more details in the verse, but when it is talking about those rivers it is talking about some other sharab which also gives information about what they are.
and the same address part 38:Iblis is not an angle
I can answer all of them although I am not an expert ,but I chose 2 that were more simple to explain,
if you wish to know more contact me

Because it was written by man, and not anyone special just like the bible. I believe that at the time of writing man did not understand what he was to write, and did not understand the meanings so he thought about it and wrote what he could understand, and this meant man has been able to con millions of people for years look at the profit the Church's around the world have. And look how man has controlled women by using the so called holy books.

The same reason as there are contradictions in the Bible and other religions. The writings were not contemporary and have the bias of the view of the particular author. Oh dear we are back to the Da Vinci Code again!

i read those passages and i saw that what i read made sence to me and that the person who wrote it dosent really prove it wrong but just writes the quran with misundrestood meaning. if the person who wrote this would go to a sheik and question him about the meaning of the passages then they would undrestand. you your self can go to a masjid to a sheik and ask for them to verify the meaning so that you can undrestand. so it is as if this person is just writeing it with out nowing meaning. go to a sheik. go to a islamic place and you are sure to find a sheik. u can come even if your not muslim. ask about it and tell the sheik to prove the meaning. we on yahoo abswers have limited knowlege on this so go to a sheik plz.
ITS ONLY A CONTIDICTION TO THE ONES WHO DONT BELIVE.BUT TO THE TRUE BELIVBERS ITS A GUIDANCE AND ITS THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. IF YOU WERE A MUSLIM YOU WOULD KNOW ITS A TRUTH BUT SINCE YOU ARE NOT YOU DENY IT AND YOU FASLEY SAY THE WHOLE QURAN IS FALSE, AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO NOT BELIVE THAN WAIT UNTIL UR DEATH AND YOU WILL SEE THAT ISLAM IS THE WHOLE TRUTH AN NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.
obiviously you choose to not belive and make false comments about islam and you are looking for our anger and i see that you are imature. if you were really asking a question for oue true answers and you really wanted to know then those false things you and the people who wrote this site are muslim haters who only but want to see muslims go astry like you did. and that you are angery that the quran has no controdictions so you and they write fake things about the quran.
