Jesus was here 2,000 years ago and sent the Holy Spirit etc. Does that mean that for the other millenia of human existance, everyone was intrinsically sinful? Like Moses, Aaron, Daniel, Solomon and that's just a few names from the Bible, let alone the world population. And, if everyone was sinful before Jesus came along, does that include his mother?

Christianity is there as a guide for us, to help us through life, if we choose to accept it. I'm afraid attitudes like yours turn people off, unless they believe anyway. Rather than sitting in front of your computer asking people if they believe or not, get out there and do something to help someone, in Jesus's name.

Strange, most of the people I know who claim to have the Holy Spirit can't agree on much of anything. And they all still sin.

I have read it... you should try it once. The Holy Spirit isn't supposed to live in you so that you won't sin anymore. It is considered the Comforter... the one who brings you knowledge when you need it most. And if it's possible to not sin, why did your Jesus die?

Of course I believe that. Anybody who is saved,(that is, know that if they would die right now that they would go to Heaven) knows that Jesus gave us the comforter, or HOLY SPIRIT because it is evident in their lives. You cannot be saved if you do not have the HOLY SPIRIT. By the way, if you are saved, you still sin. Jesus died for our sin, He didn't say that we would never sin again! I am saved, and I sin all the time because I am not perfect. The only one who never sins is Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Just to let you know, its awesome to have the HOLY SPIRIT abide in you.

Yes I believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to cleanse my spirit so that I may see the truth in Him. Yes I worship and praise Him daily. I thank the Heavenly Father for His Son and for turning His back when Jesus cried out to Him.

God Bless you honey, I do believe. I am a born again christian and I love reading the word of God. But, remember the bible says we sin everyday and fall short of his glory. I believe that is why the bible also says to pray without ceasing. We must continually ask God for his blessed forgiveness. You will be in my prayers.

In the Bible, the Holy Spirit, the voice, breath of God, is Wisdom. In Hebrew, wisdom is shakinah. That is the ancient name of a goddess who was also called Sophia. The Church declared the Holy Spirit to be male, despite the language declaring it female. So, yes, I believe the Goddess comes to me. Thanks, for asking.

This reminds me of that Tinkerbell thing in Peter Pan. Having said that, no, if the wholey spirit showed up at my house, I'd beat it with a baseball bat like a red-headed, mongoloid stepchild.

I love the Holy Bible, very entertaining story esp. for a work of fiction.

You are correct. Though many believers rob the Spirit of its power by trying to do its job for it.
