Why would you thinnk something was WRONG with her? Everyone has dreams. Some are nice, some are weird, and some down right scary. Doesnt mean anything is wrong with them. We dream for several reasons. Sometimes our minds are just searching for answers, sometimes we are stressed about something and our minds create an escape while we sleep, sometimes we watch something on tv that excites us and so we tend to dream about it, and then there are cases when people can somehow see things through dreams that cant be explained. Dreams have symbolic meanings usually. Say you dream your being chased by a snake. It doesnt mean you are afraid of snakes, it symbolizes a feeling of being stressed out by something in life during your wake time. So dont push and make something out of her dreams. The last thing a 12yr old girl needs is someone telling her theres something wrong with her because she dreams. Teen girls have enough emotional issues to deal with in life and to add to it can cause major issues mentaly for her later. If she is harming noone, and she is not in danger then let her be.

First of all, everyone dreams. There is no limit to what you can dream. When I was younger, I used to dream about the same type of stuff. I think her dreaming about being in another time period is perfectly normal.

Hi hun! Dreams are dreams, they don't control your life. Its your subconcious and imagination. People say some things in a dream means different things. They might if you believe in it. I don't believe it. Take care! Hugs! Von!

Just hear her out. Ask her to start a journal of her experiences. It's simply a case of a healthy imagination.

Nothing wrong with that.
