Hi, does anyone know how bad the traffic is on Meridian Street (heading towards downtown indianapolis) during 7:00 am, 8:00 am and 9:00 am?

7:00 am it is steady between downtown and as far north as 191st street. (They've regulated the lights better). At 8:00 you will experience multiple light sittings at SR 32, 151st, 126th, 116th and 28th street. At 9:00am it is much as 7am is, only a little less crowded.

Meridian is not too bad at 7am but between 7:30 and 8:15 it gets worse.

I can't vouch for the other answers, but they make sense. In any case, if it's not a major detour, take the interstate in. Fortunately it passes right by the downtown area, something like 12 blocks from Momument Circle.

Bad, but not many options. Get there early or late. Middle of rush is packed, plus street is narrow between Kessler and 38th St.
