I think that it has pathetic pictures in it. There is a picture of satan tempting christ and it just looks ridiculous. The picture is just a sinister looking bald man showing another man a card trick. Jesus appears to have no face or hands in the picture.
Other than that I like the Good News Bible!

The Good News Bible is a good first bible. It's easy to read (OK, the illustrations are lame). But for a better translation, try a New Revised Standard or New King James Revised.

I have one & don't much care for the picture's either, they look like a kid drew them.
I prefer the "Living" Bible.

And why do you like this publication is it because it justifies the lives of the millions of people that have been taken away in the name of your god,or any god in the new religions(Islam,Judism e.t.c.)
