The cats I already breed are Himalayan and Oriental. And also, I don't want to breed Siamese because I've tried those and they don't work out right, they don't suit my life style. My two Siamese just died 5 years ago of old age.

Considering that your profile says that you also breed "more than one kind" of dog, I really don't think you need to be spitting out ANY more puppies and kittens into the world.
There are too many cats and dogs in the world who need homes as it is.
Holly - it IS because people breed their animals. Where do you think all of those animals come from? Thin air? And someone who breeds "more than one kind" of dog, as well as 2-3 kinds of cats IS a BYB, whether they want to admit it to themselves or not.

Breed for money. We call that a back yard breeder. Real cat breederss, breed to improve the lines. Not for a profit..

I think if a person wants to breed their animals that they should be able too. Not all people are BYB's. All y'all on here talking about spay and neuter....too many cats/kittens in shelters....it's all a bit over rated in my opinion. There are lots in shelters....thats true...but not all of them are because people breed their animals.
Not ALL animals in shelters a due to people breeding their animals.....strays breed....animal control picks them up...and drop them at shelters.....Im just tired of people bashing breeders on here.....I breed great danes.....none of my pups end up in shelters nor will they ever

I recommend that you do not breed anymore. It gives the wrong impression when you breed many breeds!!!!!!!!!! It kinda starts to sound like a kitty-mill!!!!!!!
Besides...wouldn't people need to know what two breeds you already have so as not to repeat!!!!!!!!!!!

go to your local shelters and see all the cats and kittens that don't have loving homes and decide whether or not you really want to breed more cats.

Please don't breed any cat. There are way too many homeless cats and kittens in the world. The number that are euthanized every year is staggering.
If you want another cat, purebred or not, please go to your area humane society or rescue group and adopt one.
And, please have your current cats spayed or neutered.
