Neither is better. They both are portions of the electromagnetic specturm that includes all the frequencies (infrafred, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, ultraviolet, radio waves, X-ray, gamma rays...etc). We "see" color because it is the remaining frequency that bounces off an object while the others are absorbed. If you mean, which one do we prefer, well, that can be argued forever because we each react differently to the same color frequency. These emotions can be averaged hence red usually connotes energy, excitement, anger and hot while green represents go, calm, sick, institution, even mental illness. Either can be positive or negative in terms of human reactions. Which one you like better could reveal something about your personality, so be careful who you tell.

Red. We see all the greens, but red is so powerful we don't see Infra-Red further off the spectrum.

definatly red. my sister thinks green though.... Green reminds me of boggies and a lot of gross things are green. The only gross think about Red is that it is the color of blood, that is all. Green is Gross, and Red is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who are color blind can see neither; but I prefer green like my boyfriends eyes
