I do not agree.
However, the fact that you asked this question shows that you likely don't care what I think. Your mind is made up.
I depend on the Lord as my Heavenly father. I cling to Jesus as my savior.
That does not make me weak-minded. I study other belief systems. In fact, my best friend is Atheist, and he tells everyone that I'm the smartest person he knows. Not that this matters to you.
When you waste your time like this insulting people you don't know, simply because they have faith, it merely goes to show how vulnerable you feel and how weak-minded you evidently are. After all, no one confident and strong-minded would need to prove that by spitting on the beliefs of others.
Believe what you want. It's between you and God, not you and me. But please treat others with more respect. It's the golden rule for a reason.

People who cling to religion are very weak minded and they actually can't think for themselves so they have this religion nonsense to dictate their lonely little lives. Religion is just something to keep your mind off of the real issues like how the government has you living in a real life matrix.

People cling to anything including religion is known as attachment. They are not considered weak minded people.

They just need a truly enlightened teacher to teach them how to be detached and find the God within.

Although I think that those who cling to religion are weak willed the same is also true for most of my fellow atheists.

I do not agree. I believe that people who "cling to religion" are simply fulfilling a need in their lives with religion. Some people need it more than others do, but it doesn't make them weak-minded. What I speak of is ultimately unboundless love. All religions preach that God loves us. What do you need in your life? Do you get a rush from playing video games? From drag racing? From being with certain people you consider your friends, etc.? Maybe those people clinging to religion don't need the rush of a video game or whatever you find fulfilling in your life. I doubt they would call you weak-minded for needing/wanting that thing, but some would call you weak-minded. Don't kid yourself, we're all needy for one thing or another in our lives, but it's part of what makes us who we are, and should not be a source of ridicule or scorn from society, especially if it's something that is socially acceptable in certain circles. Remember the adage: "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones."

While I don't follow a specific organized religion, I find your question illogical.

I think, that in this day and age of varying beliefs, it takes a strong person to cling to their religious convictions and not be led by the nose by every new fad belief to come along. There's nothing wrong with being open-minded, and studying and respecting other beliefs, but it takes strength to not be swayed to follow every single fork in the road that you encounter, but to stay steady and true, even in the midst of attack and hatred.

Personally, I think that people with no belief system at all tend to be the more weak-minded.

I don't. Just because you cling to your religion doesn't mean you're weak minded. Religion doesn't make you weak minded, it makes you a strong person.

I do not think that those who cling to religion are any more weak of mind than those who seek attention and affirmation of their own narrow-minded views on the Internet.

I rather hope I am not weak minded I am a leading researcher in my academic field. If you would like to discuss at length any religious or non-religious group and the implications of their belief system upon their lives and society, let me know. Just because over fifty percent of the American population cannot place Miami on a map, doesn't mean all Americans cannot. Just because over half of the religious people in America cannot place Miami on a map does not mean the rest cannot.

Your question says more about your beliefs and your experiences than about people in general. You are likely associating yourself, whether by intention or subtle interaction with people who support your belief system. I would suggest a more systematic review on your part on the human condition.
