When "Friends" step over those boundries there is a big chance that it will turn out weird like this. Now unfortunately your relationship with eachother is going to be different. A little bit of time is going to have to pass for some of the weirdness to go away. When and if you two do talk about it, just say "I know we shouldn't have gone there. I hope we can still be friends." Also, you two were never together for her to break up with you.

"You thought it was appropriate", well you were so wrong, knowing each other since childhood does not guarantee sex to be a good idea. Plus, there's more about sex than thinking, it's the feelings that I think you guys didn't consider. Dating is different from friendship. Give her some time, wait for her decision.

Same thing happened to me but i was the girl. Me and a friend knew each other since birth we tried dating and I felt so uncomfrotable. he was a great guy and I know he would make some girl very happy but we seemed like we were invloved in incest because we were so close. We discussed it and decided we would hold onto the friendship but trying to make a relationship wasn't working. He was upset...I knew it. I felt bad but I'd rahter keep a good friend then have a weird relationship. Sorry I couldn't give you the storybook ending.

Sex usually ruins a friendship between a guy and a girl, just give her space and see what happens, in the meantime you must act like you do not care, if you show too much interest in her she will really be wierded out so just do your own thing, find a new girl.

Give her some time. Try to talk to her and see whats bothering obivously something is. It's kinda a wierd situation for girls. Even though you have known each other for a long time, that kinda makes it a little wierder.

Move on dude and ask questions on how to satisfy a woman. Maybe she broke up with you because you were lousy in bed.

Nothing wrong. She was just testing the merchandise. Ask her again for a romantic date. This time put some crazy glue on your penis. She will stay longer with you.

you two were only friends to begin with...it probably was weird. Act like it never happened and do everything the same as before

Well your good friends right? That means she holds you in high esteem. Well...how do you feel about her? Do you love her? If you do..then don't go gently into the night. Tell her your feelings.
