Chicken Parmesan

Breaded chicken is baked with purchased spaghetti sauce and cheeses for a flavorful, but easy recipe.

Ingredients:

• 4 boneless, skinless Chicken breast halves
• 2 Eggs, beaten
• 1 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
• 1/4 cup Olive Oil
• 1 jar Spagetti Sauce (15-1/2 oz.)
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesian Cheese
• 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 400. Dip chicken into eggs and into bread crumbs. Heat olive oil. Cook chicken in oil until well browned on both sides. Pour spaghetti sauce into 11x7" baking dish. Place chicken on sauce and top with cheeses. Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Notes:
If you have extra time, you might flatten the chicken breast before preparing.

Number of servings: 4

spaghetti.
boil a pot of hot water, throw in the spaghetti and a pinch of salt, let it cook for 15 minutes, then drain it of water.
In the meantime, stir fry some ground beef until it's brown- not burnt, it should take about 25 minutes. Don't forget to lightly season the meat with salt and pepper. Drain it of the oil, put the meat back on the saucepan, pour in the spaghetti sauce, let it come to a simmer- STIRRING AT ALL TIMES or it will burn.
When the sauce is ready, put some on a plate or bowl, toss in the spaghetti, mix, and devour.

If this is too hard, you can always take flour tortillas and spread a thin coat of mayo on it, then put on the sandwich meat, like turkey breast or ham, on the tortilla, roll it up and eat it.

No, still not your thing? OK tortilla, hot dog (boil the hot dogs for about 5-6 minutes, first), then microwave a can of chili in a bowl for about 1-2 minutes. Slap in the hot dog into the tortilla and spread on some chili. Sprinkle on some shredded cheese and eat.

If you still don't get this, then honey, you are on your own!

I would really like to help with your culinary road-block, but what do you want to cook and what do you have on hand? Simplicity and ease of recipe usually depend upon what you have available to cook. Most of the simplest recipes are those easy directions on the box of whatever you have in the cupboard. Start there, some of those box directions even let you try alternative ingredients, that will give you some variety. Now you're cooking!

Try this easy open-face sandwich

Toast a piece of bread, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on it

add a big thick slice of home grown tomato on it, sprinkled with salt and pepper

add slices of cooked bacon on top of the tomato

cover with slices of velveeta cheese so it covers the whole sandwich (You need to use Velveeta, it melts better than regular cheese - I’ve tried regular cheese and it is not nearly as good for this sandwich)

broil in the oven until cheese melts (not too long you will need to watch it carefully so it doesn't catch on fire)

then enjoy one of the best tasting sandwiches you'll ever eat!!!
