Help, bad hair cut. 911. Can anyone hear me?

Question

I cut 12 inches cut off my hair last week and its horrible. I needed a change and thought that it would be a good idea but it wasn't. Its like when you get your hair cut short and it turns out cute but then you decide to grow it out and it gets to that stage where it doesn't want to do anything. I figure my 2 options are go get it cut shorter or just deal with it. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

I'm sorry you just have to wait until it grows. i have done this way too many times and i was just considering cutting my hair again because its at the stage. but maybe ill think twice about it. you can get cute hair clips and experiment with those or you can try adding highlights or something

Ugh I had the same issue. I had hair down to my @55 and I chopped nearly a foot off. It was just above my shoulders. Then I hated it after a few months so I just kept gettignit cut short again. It's so hard. It just gets lifeless after a while.. Then i dyed it auburn red... so it looks cute again up to a certain point and then a few months later its time to decide between cutting it again or growing it. I gave up and I am now growing it back. I regret ever doing anything.

Remember every time you cut it back to the style you cut it to originally you will in a few months end up with that lifeless look again. Just trim and grow. DO NOT dye it just because you think that will help with the lifelessness... it will just happen a few months later again. Wait it out and hope for the best. That's what am doing now. WIsh I never messed with it... My hair was alway wonderful.

Get a style sut on it that way it is just not cut short, it is short and has a cute flip to it. Flip it up at the bottom or style it with moose. Tie a cute polka dot ribbon on your head like a headband and tie it in a bow at the back. That is what my friend does and she makes me wanna cut my hair!

Definately dont cut it shorter because then you will just feel more horrible and it will take longer to grow out. Also,this sounds korny but it really workks....drink alot of milk! I made the mistake of cutting my hair to my shoulders which was 5 inches off and i drank 2 glasses every day for a year and my hair was back to its original link.

you may need a little color to enhance this style and recommend getting it professionally done. Also go a salon and ask if someone can show you how to style it. If it's just a plain ugly bad hair cut. I would go to a stylist that will listen to you. I don't know where you live, otherwise I would say come visit me. I will listen to what you want and give you wonderful results.

Hello! Hair weave. Fake hair plays a part in bad hair cuts are people with no hair. Hair weave is the best solution for u. You can go to a hair stylist hair store or on the Internet to order hair weaves don't let any one in your hair if you don't think that they don't know what he/she are doing that can be the biggest mistake.

you don't have to go shorter if you don't want to...find a better hairstylist by recommendation and tell them you just want to shape it up a bit but not cut...possibly textures it a little so it will work with your styling ability at home...
