I am interested in knowing which major city (over 1 million people) has the most abominably awful public transportation - trains, subways, buses. I believe mine does, but I am interested if another city has even worse public transportation.

Tulsa, Oklahoma has one of the absolute worst public transit system in the nation. Their are very few bus routes, and they run only every 50 minutes; no service on Sundays. Very few neighborhoods have bus stops, and major thouroughfare streets have no routes at all. One would dare to say, it would be easier to reach your destination through antiquated measures such as horse and buggy.
