I make my own baby food. My daughter is almost seven months old, and this is what she eats:
apples, bananas, pears, mangos, blueberries, avocado, nectarines.butternut/acorn/summer squash, zucchini, carrots, peas, chicken, yogurt (plain, whole milk, mixed with home made fruit puree) mashed potatoes. Avoid strawberries for the first year, they can cause allergic reactions in many infants. Absolutely NO HONEY for the first year, as well. It often carries bacteria that can be fatal to a child under one year.....I only give her corn when she is a bit constipated, mixed with her sweet potatoes. Corn isn't particularly high in nutrtional value.
Also-it doesn't always take 15 tries to get a baby to eat a new food. The only thing my daughter rejected her first time trying it was peas, but she was eating them by the third try. Just be sure to wait 3 days before a new food, to make sure there are no allergic reactions or food sensitivities.

Corn might be a little difficult to handle as a first food, but other veggies would be okay if you puree them finely. Remember to start off slowly by introducing one food at a time to make sure there are no food allergies. Giving the same food for 3-5 days before moving on to the next.

Corn is definitely NOT safe. Babies shave a hard time digesting it. Do you know how corn looks the same when you poop it out? Just imagine how constipated it will make a baby. Green beans, squash, apple sauce, bananas, pears, things like that are safe. When buying can vegetables, make sure they say "no salt," on the can.

I think it is safe. corn is sold in stage 2 and 3 baby food jars so I don't see why you can't make it yourself. Just make sure it's blended rather smoothly so your baby doesn't choke.
For 6 months old, I'd mainly stick with a variety of fresh fruits, plus things like sweet potatoes, peas, and carrots, and rice cereal.

yes, corn is safe. If you go and look at the baby food isle in the store, they have all sorts of things for them. Just use what ever you have, and blend it well, It will taste alot better for him. I never have used baby food from the store, my kids would not eat it. You can do broccoli, spinach, mac and cheese, peas, green beans, just about anything that you eat, including meat... Just cut back on the salt and spices at first.. Good luck to you and the baby

i would say that as long as you blend it very well into a puree then your baby can eat it. Always start with cereals then vegetables then fruits, when introducing him to new foods. It takes about 15 tries before the baby gets used to the new food. If you need ideas for baby food you can make at home, walk along the baby aisle and see what food products are on the market. hope this helps

A lot of people swear that you can house corns together if they're about the same size... but I wouldn't. It's not worth the risk. If one decides that he's hungry and makes the other one a meal, not only do you lose the smaller snake but potentially the larger as well (if the meal is too big).

I make my own baby food, too. Corn is too dry and hard to chew and digest.
Try carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, bananas, and apples.
I make the best apple sauce, and purees. My baby loves them.
You can also make yogurt. I buy plain yogurt and blend in fruits, and my 5 month old baby boy loves them, and he's as healthy as can be.

yes almost any veg or fruit is safe if you blend it. Corn can make BM's runny though, so if he gets diarrhea you may want to wait on it. He can soon eat almost anything you do it it is mashed or pureed. Avoid honey! Good Luck.
