Zucchini looks like a cucumber, but doesn't taste like one. It tastes similar to squash to me.

zucchini's taste like yellow squash because theyre in the same vegetable family....they dont taste like cucumber...cucumber's more of a fresh veggie that you don't usually cook

Very mild squash -- my kids hate some squash, but LOVE Zucchinis!! Just try it, bet you'll like it!!

Taste like summer squash. Not cucumber. It has very little flavor

it's very mild to bland but it does go well with pasta and tomato sauce just don't cook it too much or it will be mush.
