Against his better judgment Captain Frank attended Art Bragg's annual Christmas party. Captain Frank sat in a corner trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, when Art trapped him in one of his many tall tales. "Why yes," began Art, "even my days as a younger man were filled with adventures. That beautiful white rabbit skin and that 14 point moosehead on the wall are both from animals that I shot when I was just a lad of 12. I got them both up in Canada during my July 4th holidays. Two summers later I shot this beautiful bear you're sittin' your feet on." Captain Frank realizing that Art was just getting started, got up and said, "Art, excuse me, but I can't take your bull any longer." Why did Captain Frank say this?

Duncan Drivel had a collection of rare bird calling records which he wished to sell. He sold half of his records plus a half record more to Professor Bumble. then he sold half of what was left and a half record more to Whislin Willy. At this point Duncan had one record left. How many records did Duncan have originally?
________________________________________
Two other questions come to mind.
1. What are Professor Bumble and Whislin Willy going to do with only half a record? Is it the top half or bottom half? Or maybe the left half or the right half. And won't it destroy the record player to try to play only half a record?
2. What is the title of the record Duncan has left, and why did he keep it?
Which brings a third question to mind: Who is the biggest turkey of the bunch?

#7 - 8
#8 - 16
#9 - Say the horse was tied to pole and had stretched the rope to its fullest...he is facing say south. so where he is tied to is 5 m from his head. if the hay is behind him..then its only 1m to the North of hwere the horse tied to...the horse simply turns round.

1) a) He just remembers what the questions are?

b) She had put something in the tea and it was still there?

2) If there are no footprints, he must have fallen there. Maybe he fell out of a plane? He'd be frozen because it's always cold in the upper atmosphere.

3) Both these questions are about chess games. In the first, a knight has jumped over a rook to capture a pawn. In the second, the two priests are playing chess and the king and queen are pieces. (Possible alternative to the second question: They're watching TV or a movie.)

4) I'm guessing it's either because he knew the mail carrier's name was Bill or he knew the postman's and doctor's names weren't Bill.

5) Maybe she didn't realize that it wasn't enough to be on the nude beach--you have to actually take off your clothes!

6) Rabbits aren't white in the summer. Their summer coat is brown and their winter coat is white, for camoflauge.

7) a) He starts with 7 records. He sell 4 (3 1/2 + 1/2) to Bumble and has 3 left. He sells 2 (1 1/2 + 1/2) to Willy. Then he is left with one.

b) Nobody got any half records, so the question of what they did with them is meaningless.

c) I think he kept "Turkey in the Straw" because he realized after he bought it that it wasn't a bird calling record after all, so nobody would buy it.

d) If I'm right, Duncan is, for thinking "Turkey in the Straw" was a bird call.

8) Assuming all cars involved have both a front and back bumper, 18. One each for the cars on the ends, and two each for the middle 8. (Note to the other guy who said this: 8 x 2 + 2 is 18, not 16!)

9) The other end of the rope isn't tied to anything.

10) I guess maybe the Moscow sea is on the moon or another planet?

1)you don't need cards for e-mail
her tea still had something in it...or was cold

2)he fell out of a plane or a deranged ice cream salesman's van

3)the man jumped on the horse
it's either chess or they told her to kill him

4)The milkman was the only man

5)either she didn't turn over, she wore sunblock, or she didn't go nude

6)"So you're the one that store the bull!" OR "Oh, the bull's in the den!"

7)He had 7~~7/2=3.5 3.5-0.5=3 3/2=1.5 1.5-0.5=1
He had Darude's Sandstorm left...it's the best one.
They're going to decorate the DJ booth at the club with the 1/2 records.
The biggest turkey is the person answering all these...oh wait, that's me!

8)16~~one each on the front and back cars, and two each on all middle eight cars.

9)He was turned with his back to the hay and the rest of the rope. All he had to do was turn around and the hay was only one foot in front of the rope.

10)There's no land in the Moscow sea or it's not on our planet.

Why did you ask the same thing twice?
