Wow that is really awful. I love my dogs i do not think that i could ever do that to any of my animals. There is other ways that they could deal with this problem. We should not let them get away with this it is crueltyif we did this in the us we would be put in jail. I think that the people who do this have problems they need someone to hit them upside the head a few times to see if they like it. I feel so bad for these people who have to watch there dog be killedlike this it is an awful way to die. These people need to be prosecuted for inhuman treatment of an animal. Just because a dog bites a person and that person gets rabies does not mean that every dog in China has rabies. Why does someone not bring the rabies shot to China so this can not happen anymore.
I love my animals and i do not see how somone can do this to such nice animals.

That is horrible because those 3 people did even have to get rabies from dogs plenty of other animals can have rabies and all those creatures they have over there who knows what spread the virsus

All over the world, dogs are abused, murdered and desecrated, it is not just one place- In my book, these people need to DIE and I nominate myself to do the bidding! I would off them, execution style, without a thought! Let me into China, with an A.K. I'll show them whats up!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have no problem taking homicidal vengeance on these sick excuses for human beings!

Yeh i read about that early on the news, that is so horrible. It really makes you look at them differently. And not only are they killing peoples pets, but they are BEATING them to death. That is so vicious. I wish someone would club them over the frigin head with a bat. So sickening..

there's more to it than the rabies thing. people in china view dogs in a different light than we do . we see them as loving members of our families. the see them as a way to live . they eat dog and they skin them for their pelts. many dogs become the fur trim on coats and sweaters right here in the states. i tried to watch a news program on this but i couldn't watch it . it made me sick.

they should not kill over 50,000 dogs in china that is just cruel if they HAVE to kill dogs they should only kill the dogs who have rabies with a quick shot like we do in the US that way its less pain full for the dog and they don't kill the dogs that are innocent !!!!

actually, your statistics are wrong. over 2000 people/yr die of rabies in China. it doesn't justify the steps they took in that particular province however.
it is a reflection of the failure of their medical system more than anything else.
