Wow, and I thought I was the only one with this problem. Don't bother cooking the venison. Just slice it up and feed it to him raw. They like it that way.

Roast at 300 to 350°F (150 to 180°C) until desired internal temperature is reached, 20 to 15 minutes per pound. Don't Overcook!!!

I recommend a mattress protector, like what you would put on a kid's bed in case they wet. Or rubber sheets, although I don't think those would be very comfy.
