Tell your boyfriend that you still like him like a bestfriend, but then say that you need a "break" for a little while. Then if he thinks that you are really dumping him for good, tell him that things arent working the way you planned, and you just need some tim eto think. Then after you have had your "break" for a while, he will figure that everything is going fine the way things are. but if he is worried about how he wants a girlfriend, but is not sure that he is still with you, tell him what is going on, and why you want to be apart. If he is a good guy, then he will understand you, but if he gets mad, then you obviously shouldnt be his friend. I hope this was of help to you!! :)

you can't be friends. It will be hard for him. Staying friends and knwoing you was in a relationship. I'm in same problem im still friends with my ex, but it often hurts when knowing hes going out and that. But if hes understanding then it shouldnt be a problem. Just say to him can we have a break from eachother and see how it works out with not seeing eachother for a cuouple of days/weeks x

I have answered at least 200 of these questions since I have partticipated in yahoo answerws. All it takes is comminication. That's it. There is no secret answer to these kinds of questions. Just comminication. Tell him that you think that the two of you make better friends than being in a relionship. I am a marriage councler so I know these kinds of things.

It is possible! If you still love your boyfriend but are not in love with him and he still loves you then he will not want to lose you completely from his life. Just let him down gently and tell him how you really feel. But do it face to face and not by text or the telephone you owe him that much. My ex and i are still in contact with each other because he didn't want to lose me for ever (his words). We still chat on the phone just not as often as we did, but its always nice to hear from him! At first he may not agree to be friends but if he cares enough he will soon come round! However, be prepared for him meeting someone new who may not want him to keep in touch with you. So before you decide, make sure you are 100% sure its what you want!!

you should at least give the guy a chance to be friends with you. one of my ex's jus cut me off but i wouldnt have minded to still be friends cuz i felt the same way but didn't know how to tell her.

me n my x we try that but we fell in love again n we fell out n tryd 2 b friend again but it's not workin n i sill love her n i no she love me coz we keep getin bk 2geter n we woodn't get bk 2geter if we just walk away n let on we dont no one an other
