Honestly I am not real sure. I mean I don't see a big difference between a soldier and a terrorist. What we are calling terrorist today are just people who are fighting to preserve their way of life just like we claim we are doing.
They don't have huge militaries so they cant just declare war and meet us on the battle field so they have to resort to other means. I get that.
During the American Revolution when we fought for our independence against the British, we were overpowered BUT we beat them by using militias. The militias were groups of men that did not wear uniforms and would set up road side ambushes.
In today's terms, we used terrorism to win that war. So, I honestly see no exact definition. If anything, I would say that my government are the true one and only terrorist state of the world. After all, it is the USA, my government, that keeps sticking it's nose in everybody else's business threatening sanctions, etc.. if the don't do exactly what we want them to do.
I wouldn't exactly call Israel a terrorst state but more like they are a pawn being used by the USA in being a terrorist state. See it's like this, Bush used Israel to start this war because Bush wants to conquer the entire middle east. He couldnt get any more approval from congress to fight anywhere... like Iran. Congress would have said NO.
So, what did he do? He got Israel, an ally, to start it. He knew that our Congress would never say no to helping Israel for political and financial reasons.

Israel and Hezbollah are in my opinion two terrorist organizations that don't care who dies.
Why do I believe this? The following from democracy now might explain things.
"Well, Human Rights Watch has no problem denouncing the kind of war crimes and abuses that Hezbollah is committing against Israel. We have said since the beginning that these are war crimes and that Hezbollah should stop these indiscriminate attacks against civilians. But at the same time, it's a very convenient excuse for Israel to say that civilians are being killed because Hezbollah is shielding behind them, and that's simply not the reality on the ground in many of the cases we have documented.
Time and time again, we have documented that civilians have been killed without any Hezbollah being in the neighborhood, without any Hezbollah being inside their homes, and without any Hezbollah weapons being stored, and also that civilians are being hit on the road time and time again, when they're traveling in cars which are clearly marked with white flags. On a daily, basis Israel is hitting ambulances, they're hitting humanitarian convoys, they're hitting UN bases multiple times a day. Sometimes 30 separate attacks on UN observer posts are being documented in a single day.
So, the problem is that Israel simply is not taking the kind of precautions they need to take. Yes, Hezbollah is a difficult enemy to fight. It's a guerrilla enemy. It's not an enemy with tanks and armored cars, which are easy to hit. But Israel has the obligation to take the precautions required under the laws of war. And I’ve been in Iraq and Afghanistan and Kosovo and Chechnya and many other places, and I have seen these distinctions being made by armies. And so, what we are seeing in Lebanon is very different from what we see in these other conflicts. "

The Islamic Ummah is the problem. For a religion/government to say everybody born in this world is born a Muslim is not going to be met with kindly.
To me the Ummah must be deleted from the Islamic religion/government or there will never be peace. For someone to say I am Muslim when I know I am not is absolutely fighting and dying words.
For the Ummah to say I am Muslim when I am not makes me the enemy of Islam. Conversely you, the Muslims, are my enemy. The twain shall never meet.
When I say I am not born Muslim, in fact am not Muslim, the Koran calls me an Unbeliever or Infidel. Those words by themself are dehumanizing and demeaning.
Because I am a person who doesn't believe in worshiping false gods, I am an open target to any Muslim who wants to try and make me believe. I will fight until my dying breath to prevent anyone trying to make me believe in false gods.
This is where the terrorism comes from. The Islamic Ummah gives license to any nut trying to enforce it, any way they can; in fact, it is a mandate of the Koran. This is where the good Muslim, an oxymoron as far as I'm concerned, has to take what the bad Muslim does or they go against the mandate of the Ummah, which will violate them being a Muslim.
Radical Muslims have learned they do not have the strength or power to fight openly against the West and Israel; therefore, they use guerilla tactics to try and make us go to the Ummah.
They are cowards and hide among children and women. They think because they are fulfilling the Ummah they are honorable; but, in fact they are not honorable. They have no code of honor at all. It is only made up words to give themselves a way to save face.
Because of the duplicitous nature of the Ummah, Muslims do anything they can to enforce it. But the only ones they can enforce it on are people in the world who are weaker than them.
That's why Israel is so hated by Muslims. Israelis don't buy the Muslim bee ess. This is also why Westerners (Americans and other countries) are such an enemy to Islam we don't buy the Islamic bee ess either.
The Ummah must be deleted from the Islamic religion/government or there will never be peace. That is the nature of the Islamic beast. That is why you Muslims are dying. Not because you are Muslim, but because of the Ummah's demand that everybody is a Muslim.
That is a false premise, and you, Muslims, know it. There is no scientific proof.
You think just because Mohammed said it that that makes it true. I don't buy what your prophet said. I believe he made it up in order to spread a religion/government that otherwise would have been dufunct from the beginning if not for the Ummah.
Muslims, you must delete the Ummah from your religion/government, or you are destined to the dustbins of history.
Israel is not a terrorist state. Muslims on jihad because of the Ummah are the terrorists. Again, Muslims, you must delete the Ummah, or there will never be peace for you.
Because of the World Wide Web and the Internet, people are finally learning the truth and seeing the lie for what it is--an unproven false premise.

What nonesense! Hezbollah embeds itself, and launches rockets within residential areas. Israel has warned in advance to allow people to leave, but Hezbollah uses many civilians as human shield. Israel tries as best as possible to avoid killing civilians, while Hezbollah and other terrorist groups are intentionally targeting Israeli civilians, and only apologize if they killed Arab-Israeli civilians.
Let me remind you how this current situation began: BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 soldiers over 2 weeks ago, Israel would not be on the offensive to destroy Hezbollah. This is not a war on Lebanon. It is a war on Hezbollah and its backers (Syria and Iran). Since the Lebanese army that numbers about 150,000 soldiers is unwilling and/or unable to remove Hezbollah's 5,000 terrorists, Israel will.
It is time for the Muslim world to take some accountability and handle its exterme element that is numbered in the millions of people.
For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?
This is a grave and dangerous situation, but it has to and will be dealt with. Whether by global support or only by Israel. Israel has no choice but to destroy Hezbollah.
Deal with Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran, and you shall have peace in the Middle East. The extremist element of Islam MUST BE and WILL BE dealt with. So it is written, so it shall be.

nobody can deny Israel is the worst terrorist that the earth has ever seen , i think they are such a shame on humanity , at least Hezbollah are defending their country not killing children or using smart bombs to kill and spread blooooood, by the way Eddie killing 8 and kidnapping 2 soldiers is nothing comparing with killing hundreds children and women (Qana 1996,2006) , if anyone has to be blamed in this crime for sure it will be Israel, and if anyone wants to take Hezbollah few bombs and weapons how about taking Israel's alot weapons first, if Israel has the stupid bombs and USA in her side then Hezbollah has god in their side

The childern dying in Lebanon and Isreal is very sad, but to be expected. Hezboallah hides its weapons and equipment in populated areas so as to cause civilian deaths when attacked. Lebanon has for year knowingly and willingly harbored and supported Hezboallah to the point that they have seats in the Lebanese goverment. The safety of these childern are the responsiblity of Lebanon, not Isreal. If Lebanon did not want to put its civilian population at risk, it should not have allowed Hezboallah to operate openly from within its borders. This same situation took place in Jordan. Terrorists operating openly from within Jordan would make constant raids into Isreal. Not wanting to get involved in a war with Isreal, Jordan forced the group out. By allowing continued attacks by Hezboallah Lebanon must take responsiblity for the Isreali invasion. I can not help but notice many people criticizing Isreal for civilian death in Lebanon, but none of these people have offered an alternative means of dealing with continued attacks from forces within Lebanon. I also have to say that you request not to mention the Hezboallah attacks on civilians in Isreal would make you guilty of your own critisicim. You seem to be saying it is ok to kill Isreali childern, just not Lebanese childern. If you ask a question concerning civilian deaths, you can not omit the deaths from one nation and not the other.

Sorry, No ...Don't think so.
It isn't we are UN-civilized, It may be just the opposite.
I think this latest round of fighting in Lebanon brings questions about whether America and Israel have achieved such a high level of civilization that we cannot do what is necessary to win wars against stateless terrorist foes. Some other questions - harsher ones - also deserve to be asked:
Is the impulse to fault America and Israel for failing to achieve a pristine standard of civilized conduct in war, always rooted in deep humanitarian concerns? Or, are many of those who are quick to point fingers doing so, actually seeking to blame America and Israel for choosing to use military means to defend themselves and defeat a conscienceless and evil enemy?
Is the impulse to publicize, dwell on and make a lascivious show of disgust for a few horrible-but-isolated war crimes and prison incidents based in the liberal-democratic principle that the individual is paramount and every life has meaning? Or are those who do so themselves actually themselves guilty of moral preening?
Are such people, in fact, just crying crocodile tears for the victims and for the reputations of their countries to hide the strictly partisan nature of their opposition, either to the underlying war policy or to the party affiliation of those designing and implementing the policy?
Do they actually oppose this administration and Israel's government for reasons having nothing to do with the war - say, the administration's view of gay marriage or the Israeli government's attack on socialist economics? Have they allowed their views of the matters about which they care more than the war to distort their vision and see the worst in everything done by governments they do not agree with?
Would many of those who approvingly quote and cite the prewar claims that America needed several hundred thousand more military personnel in Iraq as justification for their view that we are losing or have lost the war be standing at the ready to defend the size of those deployments against those who would have said we were using too heavy a hand in Iraq?
Are those in America who compare Iraq to Vietnam and Israel's 2006 Lebanon incursions to the 1982 Lebanon incursions doing so because they fear their nation's defeat and humiliation - or because they are longing to experience or relive the thrill of being part of an anti-war movement?
Is the oft-expressed concern that America was attacked because it cast too intimidating a shadow an honest one? Or do those who say so hold an essentially solipsistic and narcissistic view of the world, according to which America is to blame for the hostile acts and actions taken against it? Is the sole problem we face that we are fighting against an unscrupulous enemy using insufficient means - or is that problem compounded by the fact that we cannot see our way clear to fighting this war decisively to victory, in part due to disingenuous, partisan and fundamentally un-serious domestic criticisms?
Indeed the conundrum is how to fight and win, while at the same time strive for that higher sense of civil freedom.
I think you must do the winning first or there is no chance of the second.

"The pattern of attacks shows the Israeli military’s disturbing disregard for the lives of Lebanese civilians. Our research shows that Israel’s claim that Hezbollah fighters are hiding among civilians does not explain, let alone justify, Israel’s indiscriminate warfare."
