See link below.
Per www.dictionary.com, "Anthony" is pronounced an-thony, however, a person's name is unique to them - so you need to ask them how to pronounce their name.

As the saying goes, "To each their own."

Depends on the person and their culture. Some people are named "antony" or "antonio" or "anto". Pronounce the name accordingly.

Some people are named Anthony and you pronounce their name as "an-thon-ee".

It depends on the person's country of origin - in America it would be the second, in Italy the first.

Or, as my grandpa says: When in doubt, ask "How do you like your name to be pronounced?" Even if it looks/sounds wrong to you, the way they like it is the way it is.

I know a few people called Anthony, some say Anth-ony, others say Ant-ony. I think it depends how posh they are. I even know people who were actually called Ant-ony by their parents but grew up and went all posh and ended up calling themselves Anth-ony.
