If it is itching or hurts when you pee then you need to go to the doctor. If you are scared to tell you mom then tell that you read somewhere that girls at the age of 16 should be getting pap smears every year and you think you should start now. When you go and see the doctor let it be between you and the doctor and the doctor can not tell you mom what is going on. But if you need medication then you will have to tell your mom. Unless the doctor has samples to give you.

well one thing is for sure you do need to go see somebody. And even though you are 16 you are able to got to the doctor by yourself and that is even if you don't want to go to you family doctor. I am pretty sure that you have friends so see if you can go to one of theirs or go to a free clinic, because you don't want anything that could have been help to get to the point where it is worst because you waited to long.And if it was really nothing , just remember the way you feel right now and please don't let it happen to you again. go to a confidential health clinic near your area, they will help you out. you might need an appointment though, if you are 16 you're teachers must bombard you with what to do if you get in this kind of situation so just try and remember what they taught you.
