While I realize that you probably don't have any children yourself, this can be a valuable lesson if you do plan to have kids. He's 14 - that's what 14 year olds do.
The more he sees it gets to you, the more he's going to do it. You have to exercise self-control and ignore the behavior. Validating the behavior with ANY type of negative reaction will still encourage it. If you are unable to ignore it, get up and leave the room. When he stops getting a reaction, he will stop the behavior.

You can not control other peoples behavior. Especially a 14 year old ADHD kid. Your better off sending him to a friends house for the duration of your grandma's visit.

ignore him.. eventually he'll calm down. when he's quiet, try to engage him in conversation, or do some activities (make something for your grandma, like a card)..... watch a movie w/ him. but i he acts up and upsets u, just walk away, he's old enough to watch by himself. but he may feel bad that he's pushing u away when he probably wants to spend time w/ you.

keep in mind, it's hard to control ADD. it's also very over-diagnosed, so who knows?
unfortunately, you can only change yourself. i would suggest just being very very patient. you'll have to close yourself off from the world, and be very still inside. you have to harmonize your internal chemistry, and just balance. then nothing can annoy you.

Treat him with respect and expect the same from him. Don't over react to him. Be calm and mature.
