What do you all think of english?

For those of you who speak languages other than english, what do you think of it? Is it a pretty language or does it sound ugly to you?

It isn't a very beautiful language, especially American english. The British just plain know how to talk, or at least it sounds slightly better. Other Romance languages (not romantic, but from Latin, from Rome, hence, ROMance, but anyways) sound much cooler. German is a much harsher-sounding language, of which English has roots and ties to. From what I've heard it is very hard to learn, and even I, a native English speaker, still am confused about how to pronounce certain words. Although in sentences there is no question at all about what is going on, as the word order explains things, other languages have the freedom to have words all over the place because you can just look at the endings (well, at least Latin does).

It doesn't sound ugly to me, but it's not exactly the most poetic of languages either.
It is easy to learn compared to other languages, mainly because of its simple grammar and the fact that it is so widely used. The only difficult thing in English would be the spelling, I guess. It boggles my mind to see how many native speakers have no idea how to spell. I wonder what are we, foreigners, supposed to do then?

I talk English, French and Spanish. I have spoken three languages all my existence. I consider each and every citizen of the United States of America will have to talk English, no less than good adequate to get by way of. It simply makes existence simpler whilst you'll speak with the humans you reside and paintings round. I cam from a trilingual family, I consider humans will have to keep directly to their mom tongue but additionally study to talk the language that's spoken by way of nearly all of humans within the nation in which they reside.

i think english is very ugly, i prefer french. i heard that english is extremely hard to learn because of our weird rules and exeptions in words. wouldn't it be easier if the world all spoke the same language though. but it would be boring! confused!?/

english is extremely easy to learn. its very straight-forward and everyhting makes sence, for example, you don't have to wonder what might an expression mean, like in arabic or russian. but on the other hand, english is very un-flexible and limited. i like it though :) word are shorter then in any other languages i speak or write, so its very convinient. english saves my time :)
