yes of course there are many unzip programs free and shareware the three most popular programs are winzip , winrar , webzip ..also Windows XP can unzip any zip or compressed file .. you can download winzip demo version from

also visit www.download.com to download compression s/w and any other types of s/w

If you have windows XP, you can zip files. In which file you want to zip select that file,

right click
choose sent to
then select compressed zip.

If you want unzip, select zip file choose extract all.

Yes, go to Freeware.com they have several. Also go to a local flea market many applications like FAXTALK and others will have a free version of WINZIP. Often you can get these disks for pennies

If you double click on a zip in xp, it will unzip it for you with no problems. XP has a built in unzipper.
