Cork city is really cool! because thered be a brand new modern building right next to a hundred year old church!
Achill Island is great if your here for mountain climbing, great views, a beach (I really recommend Keel, its a mile long, literally) and the reall country life! (I am related to half the people living in Achill)
Bunratty castle is great if you have kids, theres a whole little village thingy showing you what its like, its real fun! (ive been there a million times coz i live down the road)

Lexi, it's all beautiful but some parts are more beautiful than others. Check out the Country Antrim coast in Northern Ireland thats the real Jewel in the Emerald Isle's crown. Unspoilt countryside, rolling green hills, great beaches etc

The Kindgoms of Mourne
not only are the mountains stunning, not the biggest range in Ireland, nor the highest peaks but the fact the ancient granite mountains come right down to the sea, (as in the song) is quite a rare thing , so they say. Mountains and beach right there together, ideal holiday spot!

I visited about 10 years ago for a tour with my high school marching band and LOVED it. We went through a lot of towns, but one that stuck with me was Ennis - it was like something right out of a story-book with cobble-stone streets and fiddlers on the corner - unreal. Loved it.
