His mother tried to raise him as a Jehovah's Witness but his father would try to raise him in just the opposite way! His mother would tell him all the things that he wasn't allowed to do and his father would try to make him do those things!

yes he was. i was a jehovas witness for the first 20 yrs of my life and im thankful for all the days that i haven't been one. maybe it would've helped michael though seeing what situation he's in right now

Yes, by his mother. His father never really adopted the way of life- he was too busy beating the sh*t out of his children.
