Dear Caliwillsink: How well you put it! This is my answer:

The Separation of the Sons of God from the Creator/Father took place in eternity - not the Garden of Eden. This means it took place inside Spirit-Mind - for you are as the Creator - in His Likeness. As Spirit-Mind He fills all space and dimension.

The thought of Separation was traumatic for the Mind. Hence, what you see operating in the world of the physical is a Mind, as you described it. It hardly resembles what God Created.

The Plan instituted by God, immediately upon the Separation, was to save the Son in three different aspects: The in-built Eternal-ness of the Son ensures no one is lost. The creation of the Holy Spirit ensures Guidance and Comforting, and the Brother who answered the Call of the Holy Spirit [Jesus] to demonstrate the role the Holy Spirit assigned to Him - ensured we would be taught.

The teaching is the means for cleansing and purifying your thoughts and thinking processes. No dark corners are left in the Mind being taught by Jesus - that it may Return. Relationships are looked at, purified. The Son is freed. This is what Salvation actually means. Cleansed, purified and freed from your own perceptions - of everything!

You go through life surrounded by teachers. The Truth is always around you. No one is ever alone [beyond appearances]. When you ask for relationship with Jesus, your Journey begins and you have chosen rightly. You cannot decide your own fate - for your ego human mind will lead you the wrong direction. Let the Father through the Holy Spirit and Jesus decide your fate. He always votes for YOU and His Reunion.

This is an ugly topic, but demonism must be mentioned: Some will not Return. The Mind of Spirit can be destroyed through wrong perceptions, wrong thinking, wrong choices and decisions above the original Trauma of Mind. It's a massive accumulation of all those things. If you have dealt with demon-ism - one-on -one, as I have, in my work, you will know what the complete and total destruction of Mind looks like. It cannot learn.

I speak NOT of possession. I speak of your own mind totally destroying itself. This happens - to a small number of brothers. They are not sent to Hell. Hell is not a location nor a destination.
It is an inner hellish experience of Mind and total isolation. The Father knows how to handle it. It does not Return. It is unable to be in His Presence because it cannot learn and be restored for the Reunion.

The expression of being "healed" is simply a process of being taught to perceive as Jesus and the Holy Spirit perceive. Then you can think like your Creator once again. The Plan is perfect, I assure you. But what one does with one's Mind needs caution.

yes he must, because at each of these failures he retains the right to how he reacts to them. His choice of behavior, attitude towards his inconsistencies are the important parameter.

To put it simple, stuff happens, how we react to it is the defining factor. Say a person has a drinking problem, he knows it but if he chooses to ignore it is where he is going wrong. If he decides to address it, and continually tries to stop drinking, that is one the factor that will as you say "decide the fate of his eternal existence". Note it is not whether he is successful or not!

There are other factors involved too, of course. But it is the attitude and choices that play an important factor.

The gift to humans was free will, that is still effective. Any person acting within their knowledge and experience can choose 'good' instead of just themselves, and so help themselves into eternity. Your freedom is to choose to what you shall be unfree. In other words, your choice in freedom decides against or closes the door to the other choice. Our little choices also fit into this direction, as rarely is there a clear choice that freezes you into the position for the rest of your life, because of our fallibility. We all have that choice/s regardless of our situation, but choosing more for yourself over and over will turn you away from the 'good' path. But as long as there is life there is hope/choice, and a chance to choose the 'good' as you understand it.

You choose to obey a god and the soul is not immortal for He [God] only hath imortality (1 timothy says that, i think).
I believe that the soul is the mind and it's the body's software which only functions wile it's animate with the breath of life. Just like you need hardware and electricity for software to work. Then we die I believe our "software" remains dorman until God resurrects us and only he can because the breath orginiated from him and was passed down to us from Adam (the first man). Satan can maquerade as dead loved ones. When we resurrect, it will either be to eternal life or no life at all (your software is deleted from God's hard drive). Like when you're naughty on cyberspace, your account can be cancelled! Hell comes from heaven and restores the Earth. The evil doers become ashes below th saints' feet. all good atheists will get to trapple the hypocrites literally....sort of, they don't actually feelit, but they'll sure feel hell!

When you die, there is no sense of time. At resurrection you would think you just died a second ago.

Jesus has already decided the fate of each person's soul---all the person has to do is accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and accept his completed work on the cross. How a person is raised has nothing to do with it. Intelligence has nothing to do with it. It is all about belief and the willingness to make a change in lifestyle.

You should take responsibility for your actions. Your "nutty family" doesn't live your life for you. Your rebelliousness and childishness are no one's fault but your own.
