like braveheart, lord of the rings, excalibur and other movies based in the dark ages or medevil times. They make it seem like there were no black people during those times. i don't even think they called it dark ages because there was no sunlight i think it's because dark skinned people took over for a while back then but i don't know. tell me what you think.

Because most people didn't travel more than a day or two from home. One day horseback= approx. 1 hour car ride.

It's a long way from the Middle East/Africa to Northern Europe/Scotland...

yeah, just adding to her up there, i hate to say it but lots of people back then [im talking real life not LOTR (even though thats as real as stories come)] were a lot more racist. any black people in those movies would have been servants and other lower classes. As for LOTR there were the Haradrim and Southrons (same people really) who were called the dark people of the south.
