I wanna learn something EDUCATIONAL.. something that will get my mind going. What do you suggest and why? I don't want stupid answers like that lace one... gimme something interesting...

Subject-wise, you should just find something you are interested in and ...well...learn about it. It is really not a question someone else can answer for you (which is why your first go-round you got flip answers) - people can suggest as to their own interests and what worked for them...but ultimately it's up to you isn't it? What are your own interests?...explore THOSE things...learn more about them by taking classes or joining groups with others who are doing the same thing - buy a book/audio/cd on the subject...explore and learn about your own interests.

There are great things in life to learn about to help us grow and gain wisdom..THOSE THINGS (however) apply to life lessons..which is a different kind of education than you are speaking of however...and those things?...they are the best (and most important) things to learn.

It depends what your interests are and how serious you are to learn. I would suggest that if you want to "get your mind going" it would not be a bad idea to learn a bit of poetry. There are lots of resources on the Web and whilst reading some poems you may stumble upon a subject you want to learn more about eg Shakespeare, Greek or Roman Mythology. I say Poetry because its something you can pick up where you leave off at any time.

if i had the chance to sit down and learn about anything.
i would sit down and look into look into investing in water.about when and where i should invest in water, and how much i could make in the future should the world keep going the way its going.
investing in oil is for goverments , but could i keep my own ?
its very long term, but a few researchers have found goverments in the east investing heavily in water,as they think that most water in the future maybe polluted or undrinkable as wars are ever increasingly getting smarted.look at the current situation in lebanon. they reckon everyone will be dead in the country if israel turned the tap off to the country.
it was joked at a speech a few months back, they called it the cheapest war theory.

Why not get together with some friends and form a quiz team? That will give you the incentive to learn facts about our world and to take more notice of your environment.

why don't you read an introductory book on philosophy, no matter what your interests, some of it's really interesting and you can have discussions with other people about it even if they haven't studied it. It's relevant to everyday life and isn't as dull as some academic subjects.
