Why do some Christians claim gay love doesn't exist? What makes you think we're inferior?

Disagreements on how love is extressed are understandable, and I agree that consistent romantic love is just a bit weird, but you seem to forget that gay men share platonic love as well. I certainly wouldn't have sex with my brother or father, either.

Not exactly. When one says that another human being is incapable of something that is considered a basic part of life, it is implied that they are inferior.

By your God, the sexual act itself is condemned. This says nothing about romantic love, which is what I am talking about.

Heterosexually is the only way to propagate the group and back then it was all about being a bigger tribe than any other. Size meant strength so you wouldn't be attacked and could attack other smaller tribes if you chose to. That's why men could have more than one wife, it would make the tribe grow faster. Anything that would slow that down was abominable.
the same ideas still carry over today because some ill informed folks choose to buy into old values whether they make sense or not.

i don't think christians claim that homosexuals are inferior. christians would disagree how love is expressed. men who love over men is not naturally expressed through sexual intercourse. for instance, i love my brother and dad, but don't wish to show my "love" for them by having sex with them.
