i use acuvue 2s right now and my optometrist is pushing me to use acuvue advanced, i have a trial pair and i dont like them that much, they seem to halo a lot at night and arent anymore comfortable than the acuvue 2s. is this just me/im not use to them or anyone else have the same experience?

The only reason I can think of that your optometrist would be pushing you to used the acuvue advanced is if you have an astigmatism. Acuvue advanced is designed specifically for that condition. However, if you are seeing halos, the fit it not right! Make sure you tell your optometrist about the problems you are having with the advanced. If you prefer to stay with the acuvue 2, then do so! If you don't have an astigmatism, it would certainly explain why the advanced are not comfortable and why you are seeing halos.
