No. Mechatronics is. It is a combination of electrical, mechanical and computer engineering offered by the University on North Carolina at Asheville/NC State.

Take a look at the Occupational Outlook Handbook and you can get a lot of good information on that career, including its job outlook for the future, average salary, etc.

Absolutely! Everything is becoming cicuitry and elctronics are needed in may engineering field. By having a look aound yourself you will see that most of your stuffs are filled with electronics and I hope you share this idea with me that the world is developing.

if you feel devices were interesting for you since your childhood and you always wondered what makes them work, te answer is: yes. if you even did open some of your remote controlled cars, destroyed your dad's computer...sure
if you like to discover things, make things real, build things what you can not simpüly buy: go for it.
but if you never felt anything of those before and it is only the word "career" and nothing more that connects you to it: not

yes, it is a growing and changing field. You want a field that changes over time, this means more people are needed/wanted and you will be up to speed when you get out of school! This makes you more valuable!!
