Barbequed Hotdogs
This is the best way I've ever eaten hotdogs. My mom made it for my family growing up and I still love it. Try it with mashed potatoes so the sauce can be used as gravy. The longer you simmer it, the better it tastes!
1 (12 ounce) package hot dogs
3/4 cup ketchup
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 medium chopped onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
4 servings

1. Wash and dry hotdogs. Cut in half lengthwise.
2. Brown hotdogs both sides in skillet with a little oil.
3. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over hotdogs in skillet.
4. Simmer for ½ to 1 hour. Add more water if necessary.

Why not try to fancy them up as an appetizer...like wrapped in bacon or toothpick skewered with your fav meat or veggie or pilsbury dough and cheese?

you mean like make it look really good, or really apetizing or what? you could get a huge bun and put four hot dogs in it in a special way...sourround it with colorful things, like fruits: cherries, strawberries...then cover the bottom of the plate with lettuce or something...dont really know what you meant, but i hope i helped!

You could top it with fancier stuff. Like diced tomatoes instead of ketchup... you could make them in pretzel dough like the ones at Auntie Annes, they are so tasty!
