I think they size is 8 1/2 onces of the package type and the container should be close to the same. I have used the 2 interchangably.

Same thing. The whipped cream cheese is just more soft and fluffy, but it basically tastes the same, looks the same, and measures the same. Your dish will come out just great.

The difference should be minimal...the whipped has more air in it but the volume should be whatever it says on the packaging (the pkg is probably either slightly larger or slightly more full-than non-whipped-due to the product being fluffier)....the whipped version might actually be easier to mix with the other ingredients...

What are you making...and are ya gonna share? *grins*

cream cheese is heavier than whipped cream. if you are measuring by cup then weight will not be the same because whipped cream fluffy because of air in it.

In weight an ounce is an ounce, but if the whipped stuff has more air, you would need more in your recipe. I am sure that the difference is so small so it should not affect your recipe.

you should be fine...dont worry, you dont know what improvisation is if all youve had to deal with is the word whipped....i once used vanilla for butter...didnt ruin it TOO bad...
