I believe any place could be a good place it’s just a matter of being outgoing. And a good way to get over any shyness is to practice by saying hi to anyone and try to strike up a conversation and when your prince charming comes along it will be easier to get his attention. Oh and don’t forget to smile it stirs up positive energy in you and everyone around you.

Best place to meet guys is through friends (say your friend's really great BFs, get their BFs to set you up with a single friend of theirs. But only ask the friend's of yours that have great BFs.). Another place to meet a man is at work, not a boss of yours but other coworkers at the same level. I met my BF of 4 yrs now at a parttime job.
Or go to college and try to meet someone there. If you already have a degree get another one, higher such as a master's degree and then you will be surrounded by more men your age. UCONN has some cute, intelligent guys.
Or just make yourself available meaning that if you are out getting gas for your car, look around. Any cute guys working at the gas station's garage, etc. Say hi and look for a wedding ring on their finger. If they dont have one then tell them they are cute. Best thing is to approach guys with another girl in tow too, therefore it will give you more courage.
