is useing the triquetra to symbolize the holy trinity a good thing?

It is known that it was definitely later used by Christians as a symbol of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). This appropriation was particularly easy because the triquetra conveniently incorporated three shapes that could be interpreted as Christian Ιχθυς symbols.

Within the Messianic/Hebrew-roots Movement, a knotted form of the triquetra, in which a circle and a triquetra are knotted together to form a continuous shape, is used as a representative symbol of Gilghad (Gilead).

It is witchcraft and it blasphemes the Holy Spirit.

Sure, why not? The Celtics used it to represent the Holy Trinity ages ago. It is a lovely symbol.

The triquetra is used by other religions to symbolize the mother, maiden and crone in Wicca and in Druidism the earth, water and air. I have not heard it being used in christianity.

nicely, the emblem became initially of the natives of england. It stood for the three tiers of a female's and the Goddess' life: Maiden, mom and Crone. It became altered by the Christians for his or her very own applications, no longer that that they had ever truly admit it, and made male. i'm keen approximately it, female ability!

symbols don't really matter. In fact they can lead to problems if you forget what the symbol is suppose to mean and start focusing on the symbol. But don't get me started on the icono-clastic debate.

Nothing is "sin" in and of itself... it is what you do with it. Anything can be used for sin, anything can be used for God. It's like for me to say everyone who says "Today is Thursday" is worshipping Thor (a greek god). Could I do that backwords and say everyone who has a cross is a Christian?

"Things" are neither good nor bad, it all depends on the heart of the user.
