I was coloring my hair black for about a yr now but got sick of it so I decided to go dark brown..I bought color ooops...and long story short, my hair is now deep dark brown but in the sun looks redd-ish.. I don't know if I should color with brown over it, I'm scared it'll turn dark again+ my roots are now lighter than the rest of the hair so I'm scared that the color will show up only at the roots..Any advices please? Thanx!

for now make your piece with it and let it grow out.

it's better to have an undesired color that looks ok than a buncha dry tangles that used to be hair.

it's good to let the hair go a while.. especially after a solid year of dying it.

it's ok hair grows out fast... especially if you treat it well.

the more you dye it the weaker it gets.

You are experiencing what coloring does to hair when it hits the sun. You may have several different colors going on. If I were you - I'd leave it alone - let it grow out -and then I'd probably not mess with it (color) again.

the answer for this question is very simple, go to a beauty supply store ask them what exactly you should use to 'fix' your hair, they encounter these situations all the time, i am afraid to color my own hair for fear that I'll mess it up and i work with the public so i just make things easy on myself and have a professional do my hair at a salon .

u should go to the salon and asks for suggestions. ask what color u should use to get the color u want, and u should also get it professionally done there. it should be worth the money. good luck =)
