well, just keep in mind- that's texas. i live in seattle, and there's porno in the newspaper (ok- that's a small exaggeration). as long as you don't live in texas, the midwest, or the bible belt, you should be able to watch butt-porn in your car all day, without the cops getting involved.
i agree with you though, you should be able to watch porno wherever you want.

Would you want your kids seeing that at home? Let alone while in a car that you would pass on the highway. I just got back from South Carolina and I got stuck behind a car but luckily the movie was Sesame Street. Guess what... A car has plenty of windows that you can see into. I think it's just common sense not to have porn playing in the car. It's also common decency.
Save the porn for the bedroom. It's safe because you can close the blinds and shut the door.

Hey KooKoo - you and I might actually be on the same page about something - porn should be OK for people to watch in the privacy of their own vehicle, as long as it doesn't interfere with their driving or so long as the sound isn't turned up so loud so as to distract others or interfere with what they are doing in the privacy of their own vehicle...
I hate it when anyone tries to legislate behavior of any kind... outside of legislating against harming another person in any fashion... but the anti-smoking laws are a joke, are we going to be able toss people in jail pretty soon because of the way they eat? Or dress...
Come to think of it, some people should be arrested for the way they dress, but that is an entirely different rant...

Well it is illegal because it would be he equivalent of a porn shop showing the movie in a window as a display. Children are going past they don't need to see that. If they want to do something like that they should have the windows tinted.

if someone is driving and watching anything on a tv it increases the risk of accidents...tv should only be installed behind the front drivers seats so they don't get distracted from keeping their eyes on the road...i am guessing that havinga tv anywhere in the car can cause more accidents...why do we need a tv in the car...i love looking at the scenery and the places i drive to

first off you may have an accident if you get two excited and secondly watching porn behind closed doors no one can see the porn, but if you are in a car people can see it, it would be like having sex outside for everyone to see...exhibitionists

Because you are exposing people to it. If I'm driving in my car and look over and see your screen with porn on it that's not cool. Do you have sex on your front porch, or on your front lawn? No. It's the same principal!

Would you want your kid to look into another car and see porn on a portable player?
Or worse yet think about Joan Rivers and Andy Rick having sex in their car and you came up on them.
I know my day would be ruined
