LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse-1 year diploma
RN- Registered Nurse- they can have an associate, bachelor, or master's degree
NP-Nurse Practitioner-they work along side with a Dr, they can see patients and prescribe some medications and therapies
CNA-nurses' aide is NOT a nurse.

the order goes like this CNA, LVN, RN, NP (nurse practitioner) If your looking to start a career in nursing, you dont necessarly have to start at CNA, you can take a vocational nursing program and move up to a RN licensing.
