In am in San Diego county where the price per square foot varies in my area from $280-300 per square foot on new construction.

It really depends on where you are building it and how nice you want everything to be. You can do it for close to $120/sqf but that's very basic. Much of the cost is in the finishing materials such as fancy countertops and hardwood floors. If you add expensive fixtures and coverings you will be over $200/sqf.

depends on the area and style of house and what u r going to put in it! the national average for a moderate home is $ 130.00 per sq ft. ....if u up grade to ceramic tile hardwood, granite tops and such u can push the $ 160.00 mark....
