Right click on my computer
Left click on properties
It will tell you what OS you are running on that screen.

this is as simple as going to hell ; right click on "my computer" icon and choose "properties" . the dialog box that opens tells u everything apart from the operating system like owners name and system configuration.

If you are on a Windows machine, right-click on My Computer and then left-click on Properties. that will tell you what version.
If you are on a Mac, the in the top menu find About this Mac. (<--I think that's the wording)

press start, then go to all programs, then go to accessories, then go to system tools, then go to system information. OS name will appear, and your OS will be next to it.
