Cutting calories by 300 a day will usually average one pound a week. So with the excercise and stuff, you might lose 1.5 to 2 pounds a week, which is about as fast as you want to. Any more is unhealthy.

I just had a baby 9 months ago and I needed to loose 35 lbs. I didn't pay to much attention to how many calories that I was getting because that can get very annoying having to count all of that. My husband and Father in law are both body builders and they both say That diet and consistency is the most important. Whatever workout routine you pick just stay consistant. As far as diet just a well rounded healthy diet is best. Stay away from the empty carbs cakes candies cookies (whole wheat carbs are best white bread digests just like sugar) I walked two miles a day in my living room and ate healthy I lost 35 lbs in 4 months.
I wouldn't suggest adding more to your routine your body does need time to recover. Weight training is best every other day but you can do abs and cardio everyday. Thats good for you to stay active and encourage your bodies metabolism. A good resource place for any diet whether it be gain or loss is bodybuilding.com they have stuff for both men and women.
GOOD LUCK

The 1500 calories have to be the right kind. Is 1500 the right amount for you? How tall are you? How much do you weigh now? A lot of things to consider? But average is 1-2 pounds per week if this is cutting calories for you by 10 to 20%

Strangely enough, you may lose more weight if you increase your calories a little, from 1500 a day to 1800-2000. That's because when your calorie intake is too low your body goes into "starvation" mode, conserving every calorie. It makes sense when you think about it--we're all descended from the people who survived famines and other natural disasters.

You're doing plenty of physical activity--you don't need to increase it at all.

As far as how long it will take to lose your 30 lbs., I can't predict because that is a highly individual thing. But keep on the way you're going, and you're bound to get to your goal.

depends how fat u are. larger people need more calories to sustain your weight.

so if you are larger and im guessing you are if you need to lose 30 lbs then you will probably loose more like 3 lbs a week which in my oppinon isnt unhealthy considering that being fat is alot worse.

dont forget to drink alot of water and make breakfast a priority.

Eat more calories, do not reduce calories, reduce fats and sugars! With that much exercise carbs are no problem for you!
It would probably take 5-6 months, but it depends how much you weigh now, and how much of this you have been doing.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.
