only as intelligent as the individual involved in the religion. Religion is nothing more then men forming a church based on the teachings from the Bible. Some men do well at the interpretation of the Bible and some put their own opinions mixed in with the religion and and teachings of the Bible, that's the PROBLEM with religion. Do intelligent people participate in religion? I hope so, but where their intelligence comes into play is when they seek to find out if what they've been preached to is accurate and true according to the teachings found in the Bible and not just believing everything that the man at the pulpit is spewing out because there are false men of God professing to be good when in all actuality they aren't. Of coarse that's just my opinion.

Why not? Many intelligent and well educated people (including scientists) are religious in some way or the other.
I believe that atheists assume that religion is not rational simply because they haven't thought about it very much (Judging by some of the silly questions that atheists ask about religion here on yahoo, I believe that the statement that I just made is a fair one.).
................................................
In a recent interview, Richard Dawkins, a fanatical atheist and a leading spokesman for Darwinian evolution, was asked if he could produce an example of a mutation or evolutionary process which led to an increase in information. Although this has been known for some time to be a significant issue, during a recorded interview, Dawkins was unable to offer any such example of a documented increase in information resulting from a mutation.
After some months, Professor Dawkins has offered an essay responding to this question in context with the interview, and it will be examined here. It is pointed out that speculation and selective use of data is no substitute for evidence. Since some statements are based on Thomas Bayes’ notion of information, this is evaluated in Part 2 and shown to be unconvincing. Some ideas are based on Claude Shannon’s work, and Part 3 shows this to be irrelevant to the controversy. The true issue, that of what coded information, such as found in DNA, human speech and the bee dance, is and how it could have arisen by chance, is simply ignored. Part 4 discusses the Werner Gitt theory of information.
After several years, we continue to request from the Darwinist theoreticians: propose a workable model and show convincing evidence for how coded information can arise by chance!

Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made neither indeed can be.
All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence.
Behold, here is the agency of man, and here is the condemnation of man; because that which was from the beginning is plainly manifest unto them, and they receive not the light.
And every man whose spirit receiveth not the light is under condemnation.
For man is spirit. The elements are eternal, and spirit and element, inseparably connected, receive a fulness of joy;
And when separated, man cannot receive a fulness of joy.
The elements are the tabernacle of God; yea, man is the tabernacle of God, even temples; and whatsoever temple is defiled, God shall destroy that temple.
The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth.
Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection.
And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.

Intelligence, by definition, can only be ascribed to sentient beings. Religion is an idea. It is not self aware. God can be intelligent. People can be intelligent.
Some religious people are extremely intelligent (i.e., Noah Webster), while others are not (i.e., people who bomb abortion clinics). So it is not reasonable to generalize whether or not religious people are intelligent.

Yes religion is Intelligent, though made for less intelligent peoples to help their self?, thou sometimes works as some peoples prefer to make it work?, Amassing ha, and that is freedom. that from God to man, isn't free also, like from man to man.

Religion thrives on ignorance and complacency. I would be inclined to say there is nothing intelligent about religion.

I believe so. There is an inherent intelligence to that goes beyond standard intelligence and requires us to use different thought processes.
