a cortisone shot? I just got one for my shoulder and it made the pain worse! They say that it hurts more before it gets better, but I went to a new doc and he said my reaction is not normal! Has anybody else ever had this happen? It has been 7 days and my arm is dead, and in alot of pain!! Do you think the doc screwed up? Let me know if you have had any experience with this. Thanks.

It sounds like they shot you in a nerve. That happened to my husband. He said it hurt like hell and it just took a while for it to get better. I don't think there is anything they can do for it. Try putting ice on it- it helped ease the throbbing for Joe.

You may have had a reaction or the doctor did the shot in the wrong place. You need to see a different doctor who is a specialist right away.

The doctor didn't make a mistake. Your parents did. They gave you genes that cause you to react poorly to medicine that has been in practice and been supported to work with little side effects. Don't blame the doctor because you have bad genes. He will probably recommend that you see a specialist which may prescribe something else.

Yes! I had one in my shoulder too. It was more painful than having my babies. Mine hurt for 5 days afterwards and it never did get better. Good Luck I'd go see a different doctor. Hugs! Von!

Cortosone shots are common with boxers who have hand injuries. But i never heard it made the pain worse.

I get them in my right elbow and the relief from pain is almost immediate. Maybe the shoulder area is different, don't know. I think you should see a different doctor about it.

That not in any respect occurred. yet one time i became with my pal contained in the library. We were both laughing at a naughty e book and my overwhelm walked by technique of. She requested what i became reading so I shoved a Twix bar in my mouth and time stopped. i assumed about my concern then pretended it became all my friends fault and that i did not see what he became reading.

for some people it hurts the first few times if after the 3rd shot its still hurts stop its not mixin well with u

I never had one. But some people say they hurt, some say it doesn't.
