People are afraid of what they don't understand, God cannot fully be understood by man. And it makes people feel good to have a god they can understand and know and feel which is what charismatic churches are all about. people are also bound by traditions of their fathers and don't care the least bit to even consider anything outside of their beliefs.

If you mean by no smart remarks no SARCASTIC remarks then fine, but if you mean no intelligent remarks, I'm not sure how anyone can seriously answer you.
I can't speak for those who are Christian, but for those who arent's (read: everyone who doesn't believe that Jesus was the son of god), it's simple: Jesus was human, therefore he is at a human level. It's important to realize that he was at the level of humanity back in 0 AD (I don't know what the Hebrew calendar sites that year as), which may completely different (above or beneath) the level we are at now.
Anyway, on the Christian note, you're completely right: Jesus isn't supposed to be flawed.

Jesus was a con man, just like Moses. In known human history there have been about 35 sons of God walking the earth that have been recorded. There are 17 other "saviors" that have virtually the same story as Jesus from virgin birth to resurrection. All of them came before Jesus. Not only is there nothing special in him as a son of God, but his story isn't even original.
He learned a few parlor tricks and had a road show. Rational people didn't believe his claim to be the son of God then, and still don't.

Yes, they always say he was human but at the same time the son of God. Newsflash, you can have a human body as the rest of us, but if you are the son of God and have that direct access to him, you aren't human.
If he was truely human, he would get married, have sex (before and after marriage), have kids, get drunk, make mistakes, and hate that bully that keeps beating him up and taking his lunch money.
But then again.. maybe he did. This is why the DaVinci code was so popular. Made people think that Jesus was really more like them and not this person that the church describes that is not someone we can relate to.

Sometimes the best way to understand HOW something works is to take it apart BEFORE you put it together & you'll have a better understanding of how it operates in case it breaks down AFTER you put it together! I don't think Jesus or any other great spiritual minds are bothered by being pulled apart for the sake of understanding! That IS how we learn what works & what doesn't!

Personally I feel extremely religious Christians aren't learning anything new (about themselves or the rest of society) by going to church and hearing repeated lectures or by reading the Holy Bible all the time. There's so much more to life, but if you just hang on to every word of Jesus and ignore everything else, it robs you of a fully developed modern conscious. If you believe in Jesus then more power to ya, but you still have to educate yourself in other people's culture. Study music, literature, etc...NEVER close your mind for the sake of religion, and you know a lot of these Fundamentalists/Creationists preach that kind of bull-****.

I feel that he was at our level, a human, nothing more, nothing less. I feel that he was just someone who was very caring and knowledgable, and had people that looked up to him. Jesus was just a cool guy who had followers. End of story.

Jesus has reincarnated many times, he was just like any of us, but in that life he was Jesus, trying to tell us of our creative powers, same as he had
