That is one of the things unique about Jesus. He and Adam are the only two males (Eve was female) to have no grandparents. Their father was God. With Adam, God used physical elements of the earth to create a body and his own breath to impart the spirit and it became a living soul (See Genesis 2). With Jesus, he used physical elements from Mary and his own breath to impart the Spirit, and Jesus was the results. That is why the Bible refers to Jesus as the "Second Adam".
